Youth Food Network:
The Youth Food Network is a group of youth between 14-24 that have a common interest in local food systems and good food in the CRD. Our program offers education to our youth members on local food through networking with urban farms, local restaurants, and other local organizations. The team's mission and mandate includes creating a Youth Food Network as well as educating our communities through workshops, video projects, and conferences on the subjects of good food and local food systems. If you are interested in getting involved, email Eden at email@example.com!
Every year in March, we put on a conference and farm tours to increase farm sector capacity. Volunteers are needed to help with tasks from supporting the speakers as room monitors, to preparing lunch, to registration or assisting with farm visits and everything in between. We start wrangling volunteers in January so let us know if you want us to keep you in mind! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.

Can you write? The Good Food Network has a quarterly newsletter and we also have a biweekly column in the Saanich News. If you are interested in supporting these activities, please contact Linda at email@example.com
